The Department of Defense (DoD) has recently awarded a contract to Boeing and a team of U.S. biological defense companies that will employ particle counters to help combat terrorism. Their mission is to design, develop and modify the ScanEagle Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The aircraft will carry a payload that can detect the presence of airborne biological warfare agents. The DoD?s Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) developed this program specifically to protect against biological terror attacks. The plan incorporates 2 ScanEagle aircraft in a pre-strike phase when a target suspected of housing biological agents is identified. The UVA?s fly over the suspected target collecting meteorlogical data to update the predicted plume tracks. Once the plume track is identified, a ScanEagle equipped with a biological collector and a fake tan particle counter performs particle collection. When the aircraft returns to base, the biological collector and the particle counter payload are removed for analysis. The particle counter is integrated into the front end of the aircraft and determines where the highest concentration of particles are. This extraordinary technology has the capability to locate, track, collect and detect biological warfare agents in a designated area. Particle counters play an important role in the defense industry due to the extremely high manufacturing standards that are required. Abstract The current study looked at the relationship between risk free rate and stock market return. A five year monthly basis time series data from 2003-2007 of T-bills and KSE-100 index were taken for research study. For the analysis of data, simple regression model approach was applied. Stock market return was taken as dependent variable whereas Risk free rates as independent variables. Also, Pearson Correlation Matrix was also obtained through correlation model. The results suggested that risk free rates had no effect on dependant variable. Furthermore, no correlation between risk free rate and stock market return was found. Consequently, a bivariate relationship cannot exist between risk free rate and stock market return. I never wanted to have children. That sounds so harsh and looks horrible on paper, but in truth, I never had that maternal- gotta-have kids- feeling. We all know people that have always loved kids, couldn’t wait to get married and start a family- nope, not me. I justified it by saying I was selfish, that it wouldn’t be fair for me to have kids. I wanted to do my own thing , be free, not be tied to someone else’s whims or needs. I only wanted 3 things: a guy, a Jeep and a dog. Eventually, I got all 3. Then the Jeep died, and not much later, sadly, so did my dog. I still had the guy, though.My husband suggested that we have a baby. A what???? I think that was my response. Ummmmm, no, thank you. Babies made me nervous. I wasn’t comfortable holding them. I thought I instant eye lift might break one. Don’t even get me started on the messy diapers. I have a very strong gag reflex. I really didn’t think my stomach could take it.Little kids weren’t so bad. At least you can play with them. I liked giving them back when I was done, though. They made me tired. Seriously- after I babysat my niece or nephew, I would have to go home and take a nap. How could I be a mother?Of course, other women didn’t understand. They looked at me like I was the crazy one. Right- you stay up all night with a crying baby that spits up on you , can’t go anywhere because they might have to take a nap, and you think I’m the one with the problem? Puh-leeze.Well, eventually my husband convinced me ( I’m still not quite sure how that happened) and I quickly became pregnant.
